Preach My Gospel Missionaries

                                                                                                            September 11, 2017
Hello Fam!

Well to start off, wow what a busy week, I think it is safe to say that the lord is for sure blessing us, at this point I don’t have enough hours in the day to teach everyone that I want to, including I wanted to go put to more fechas with people yesterday but didn’t have enough time, the amount of people that we are finding, scratch that, the amount of people that the lord is literally putting in front of us is amazing and ever growing,

this past week after we had an amazing conference with president out here on the coast me and my comp started putting into practice a few things, let me explain, in the mission we have a book called preach my gospel, we are taught to use this thing to know how to be a missionary, using this book is designed to turn boys into missionaries, and a darn good one too, in an interview that I had with president a while back we talked about being preach my gospel missionaries, as well as putting into plan this challenge that elder packer gave us a few months ago, which is to baptize every week. my goal in my sector has been to put all of this into practice, as we are being the best missionaries possible and dedicating everything we have we are receiving these blessings, I have a group of people that have or are getting fechas for baptism, we are trying and starting to line it up so we baptize every week end, or that is the plan at least.

This week we have a baptism lined up for Friday, tonight I need to have a lesson with him to confirm that he has been living the word of wisdom for the week, as well as set all the details for that baptism, next week we should have at least one baptism of the girl I talked about last week, named Ana, as well as maybe a Haitian that I met last Saturday, and from there we have a few fechas but not 100 percent firm.

In the ward the bishop flipped a good 180 on us, he is starting to apply all the things that we have been trying to get the ward doing, he is really doing great now and with him 100% on board we are going to do some great things,

One thing that I for sure want to say is being humble is super important, remembering that all of this is coming from the lord, and really nothing from us. We are super blessed to be the Elders that are in the Lords hands at this moment, I hope and pray that things continue going the way they are,

I hope you all have a great week!

on here are some pictures from the conference with president as well as some weights I made! this thing weights a feather light 80 pounds.

love you all!
